Historic Overview
The reaching of accords by means of agreements of a widely varied nature, structure and scope has been a constant priority for the Employers´ Corporation throughout its thirty-year history.
Flow in 1979 to date, the negotiation and signing of collective labour agreements have been made easier by national agreements in which the CEOE has participated directly.
While paving the way from the Basic Interconfederal Agreement (ABI) to the more recent Economic and Social Agreement (AES) has been no easy task, the final results have greatly favoured collective bargaining and social harmony in Spain.
But in addition to these milestones, other issues have shaped the CEOE´s eventful history.
